Spacious outdoor areas

A large open space with herb garden

With two spacious rooftop play areas—one designed for older children and one for our youngest learners— there’s plenty of space for the children to move around, play with friends, go for a walk across the bridge, and simply enjoy being in the fresh air.

The playground features the children’s very own herb garden, where they can explore, learn about caring for plants, and connect with nature.

Everything you see is carefully designed to provide opportunities to improve the children’s gross motor skills, spark imagination, and encourage social interaction, all while enjoying themselves.

Fully shaded play area for the youngest children

The youngest children enjoy a separate, fully covered play area. The highlight of this playground is the wooden train in the middle. This is where the children practice their gross motor skills: climbing on the train and sliding down the slide.

The large sandpit provides children with plenty of opportunities to scoop and build sandcastles. The sandpit is also used for educational purposes such as a vulcano making activity during science week.

What makes our rooms special— and what that means for your child

Montessori-inspired activity 'wet pouring'

The rooms are set up to learn life and school readiness skills

The large, open-space rooms are designed for the purpose of learning life and school readiness skills. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of wooden furniture, giving the children a homely feel.

The rooms have dedicated areas to learn essential life skills such as a dining space, relaxing area and book reading nook. All resources are displayed on low shelves so children can easily select their favourite activities.

Emotional Intelligence teachings in Early Childhood (1)

Large group-learning mats in the centre of each room

Mat time, also called group time, provides the children with an opportunity to share learning experiences with the whole group.

During mat time, the children are introduced to new concepts, talk together and learn social skills such as waiting their turn or sharing a story. At the same time, the children bond and get a stronger sense of belonging.

The Montessori approach to introducing new toys

Designed for Montessori-inspired resource introduction

Our educators mindfully present each resource, gathering the children around to demonstrate how to use the activity and encouraging them to take turns exploring the resource.

This encourages children to develop curiosity about the resource and will likely enable them to explore the activity for longer.
